Our Story
Welcome to Rocket City Treats, the small family-owned business with a craving for all things sweet. Unexpectedly, it was this craving that led us to begin transforming candies, desserts, and fruits into “freeze-dried delights that are out of this world.” We began by freeze-drying some of our personal favorites and then shared them with others. Subsequently, requests to make other people’s favorites quickly turned our hobby into a business. Now everyone can enjoy their favorite sweets in a genuinely unique experience.
Candies that once stuck in your teeth, melted in your hands or were too hard to enjoy have been transformed into a tastier, lightweight, crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth textured delight. It’s like Candy Magic! As for desserts and fruits, freeze-drying allows you to enjoy them anytime, anywhere without the need for refrigeration or utensils. The biggest problem that you’ll encounter with our freeze-dried delights is that someone is always trying to take them from you!
At Rocket City Treats, our core mission will always be to deliver an exceptional and unexpectedly satisfying snacking experience. That’s why we use only the freshest, name-brand candy & desserts available! We never use generic, subpar or imported items from untrustworthy nations or companies.
Currently we are growing beyond our wildest dreams, and this has inspired our boys to begin taking on more responsibility. Hopefully, they’ll be able to grow this into a business with their own families one day.
Perhaps one of the biggest questions we get is, “Don’t candies (desserts and fruits) lose their flavor when the moisture is removed through the freeze-drying process? Just the opposite happens; freeze-drying significantly enhances the flavor of candies, desserts, and fruits. Many people claim that our freeze-dried treats taste sweeter and even richer than the original product.
