Is Rocket City Treats licensed?

Yes. We have both a Business License (Madison, Alabama), and a Food Safety Permit issued by the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries.

Are the candies used by Rocket City Treats authentic brand name candies?

Rest assured that we always use name brand candies, and we will never use knock-offs or imported candies.

Please understand, due to Trademark laws, we are unable to name our products by the original manufactures name and that is why we created a unique name for each of our candies.  For example, we can’t use the name Skittles, so, we call our freeze-dried Skittles, Rainbow Munchies. We do however list the name of the original candy on our label as “Made From”.

Additionally, some items such as our cashew brittle (Brittle Bliss – Cashew), peanut brittle (Brittle Bliss – Peanut) and others are made in-house.These items will be labeled as Made From Rocket City Treats Kitchen.

Do your candies, fruits and desserts contain food allergens?

We take every precaution to provide the original manufacturers ingredient list and the manufacturers food allergen notification on our website, and on each product label we place on our finished products.Please understand, we do not control how the products are manufactured in their original form. Therefore, we will not be held responsible if you have a food allergy and still decide to place an order

Are your goods (candies, fruits and/or desserts) made to order?

Practically every item we sell online is made to order. However, on occasion we may run extras of our most popular items so that we can expedite the shipping process for those who want their goods right away. Rest assured, although our products are kept in a cool, humidity controlled environment, we rarely sell an item that is more than one week old.

How long does it take to process an order before it is shipped?

If we have candy in stock that is less than one week old, then an order may ship as early as the next business day.However, since most candy are made to order, most orders will be processed within 3 business days. With that being said, if the order is large, beyond what a single individual commonly places, the process can take a bit longer.If you have any questions regarding this topic, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@rocketcitytreats.com.

Can I request a rush on my order?

While we are regularly too busy to entertain the notion of placing a rush on any order, thus putting someone ahead of others, we have made the occasional exception --- and we still got the other orders out on time.Reach out to us at info@rocketcitytreats.com and let us know why you are in a rush for your order and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Can I request that my candy is made to order rather than taken from your inventory?

Absolutely! Just let us know in the comments of your order page.

Do you offer free samples?

While we happily provide free samples whenever we set up at festivals and fund raising events, due to the cost of shipping, we do not provide samples that have to be sent via USPS or UPS.

How long does if take for commercial orders to process?

Rest assured that we have a commercial team dedicated only to fulfilling commercial orders.  However, there are several things that may contribute to longer processing times.

When the order was placed.Although we typically begin processing new orders within 24 hours of when we initially received the request, we do not process orders on weekends.Orders that are placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will commonly begin on Monday, unless that particular Monday is a National Holiday; those orders will commonly begin on Tuesday.

Can I cancel my order?

Although most of our candy is made to order, if you have placed an order for items that we have in stock, then you may cancel your order prior to the product being shipped, and you will receive a full refund.Conversely, if you placed an order for items that are not in stock, and production of those items has begun, you will not be permitted to cancel the order.We encourage you to reach out to us at info@rocketcitytreats.com to see if we have begun processing your order.

Can I return an item?

Regrettably, because the freeze-dried candies, fruits, desserts, smoothies and pet treats we manufacture are edible products, we are not permitted to accept returns due to safety concerns.

Do you provide free shipping?

While we do not commonly offer free shipping due to high cost of shipping, only orders over $45 qualify for free shipping.

How are orders shipped?

All orders are shipped using either USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground. If it is your wish for us to ship via a different carrier (FedEx or DHL), Overnight, or UPS 2-3 Day delivery, you must pay the entire shipping cost incurred before we can ship your order.

Where do you ship to?

Due to high shipping costs, we only ship to the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).Additionally, we do not ship outside of the United States.

When will my order arrive?

Commonly, once your order is picked up from our premises by USPS or UPS, shipments usually arrive to our customers within 2-7 days.You can track your shipment updates via the tracking number included in the email we will send you once your package has shipped.

Will I receive a tracking number when my order has shipped?

Yes.Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email containing the tracking number for your order.

Can I pick my order up at your location?

Of course.However, please understand that the Rocket City Treats manufacturing kitchen is just that, a manufacturing kitchen. Therefore, if you desire to pick up your order, please email us at info@rocketcitytreats.com and schedule a pick up time.
