PROCESSING

At Rocket City Treats, essentially every item we create and sell online is made to order. However, on occasion, we may run extras of our most popular items so that we can expedite the shipping process for those who want their goods sooner.Β  Rest assured, although our products are kept in a cool, humidity-controlled environment, we will never sell an item that is more than one week old.

If we have goods (candies, fruits, desserts, and/or dog treats) in stock that are less than one week old, then an order may ship as early as the next business day.Β  However, since most candies are made to order, most orders will be processed within 3 business days.

If you intend to place a large order, the process can take a bit longer.Β  Rest assured that we have a commercial team dedicated only to fulfilling large and commercial orders.Β  Here are three things that may contribute to longer processing times.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  Quantity of the total order.Β  For example, if the order is in the hundreds of bags/containers, it could take up to two weeks to fulfill the order.Β  If an order is in the thousands of bags/containers, we suggest that you reach out to us at info@rocketcitytreats.com and we will reach out to you usually within 12 hours.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  Specification of the order.Β  For example, if your order requires the removal of color from Skittles or a special coating on a standard candy, such processes can add up to one or more days of additional process time depending on the quantity of the order.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  When the order was placed.Β  Although we typically begin processing new orders within 24 hours of when we initially received the request, we do not process orders on weekends.Β  Orders that are placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will commonly begin on Monday unless that particular Monday is a National Holiday; those orders will commonly begin on Tuesday.

SHIPPING

At Rocket City Treats we offer flat-rate shipping, and free shipping on qualified orders of $49 or more.Β  All orders are shipped using either USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground.Β  Commonly, once your order is picked up from our premises by USPS or UPS, shipments usually arrive to our customers within 2-7 days.Β  Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email containing the tracking number for your order so you can track your shipment updates.

Due to high shipping costs, flat-rate shipping and free shipping on qualified orders are offered only to the 48 contiguous states within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico).Β  Additionally, we do not ship outside of the United States.

If it is your wish for us to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and/or Puerto Rico, or if you wish for us to via a different carrier (FedEx or DHL), Overnight, UPS 2-3 Day delivery, or Internationally, you must pay the entire shipping cost before we can process your order.

If you live or work in the Huntsville, Madison, Monrovia/Harvest area, we also offer local delivery for a minimal fee or free delivery for orders over $70.Β  You are also welcome to visit our Rocket City Treats manufacturing kitchen to pick up your order if you wish.Β  If you intend to pick up your order, we would prefer that you email us at info@rocketcitytreats.com and schedule a pick-up time.

Here are some additional terms that you need to consider.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  Shipping charges on a multiple-address order are handled on a per-address basis.

Β· Β  Β  Β If we are shipping to a business, then you must declare your address as a commercial address.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  As noted above, standard delivery charges apply to the 48 contiguous states within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico) only. Alaska, Hawaii, Military Bases, and US Territories will receive additional charges.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  If shipments are improperly processed without the correct shipping charges, we will notify you. You may elect to cancel the order or pay the additional necessary fee for shipping.Β 

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  We ship to the address you provided and are not responsible for any delivery errors. If your order is not able to be delivered, for any reason, and is returned to us, you will need to pay the postage that USPS charges to return it to us and the postage to send it back to you a second time.

Β·Β Β Β Β Β  While we are regularly too busy to entertain the notion of placing a rush on any order, thus putting someone ahead of others, we have made the occasional exception --- and we still got the other orders out on time.Β  Reach out to us at info@rocketcitytreats.com and let us know why you are in a rush for your order, and we’ll see what we can do to help.
